Before and during menopause, women gain weight around the hips, waist and stomach. And the weight accumulates FASTER in people without physical activity and poor diet. There is also a connection between fat and excess estrogen production.
The more body fat the body has, the higher the levels of estrogen in the woman’s body and estrogen increases the tendency to accumulate body fat.
The fact that our diet is so low in vegetables, fruits and fiber…does not help us. We produce more estrogen in our bodies than other cultures where their fat intake is lower.
Estrogen is made and stored in fatty tissues, so obesity is a major cause of estrogen dominance. Also, obesity is associated with an increased risk of developing breast, colon, endometrium, gallbladder and kidney cancers.

MUSCLE burns calories and therefore reduces body fat. Increasing your amount of muscle reduces body weight by burning increasing amounts of fat, even when at rest!
Exercise also reduces inches, which means that a firm, lean body LOOKS slimmer – even if your weight remains the same.
But some people start exercise without any history of exercise, or without building up to the levels which are most productive.
Fitness equipment is the best way to increase lean body mass while decreasing overall body fat.
Fitness equipment allows you to start at a comfortable level – AND start AT HOME – rather than straining yourself to achieve what your body isn’t yet ready to accomplish.
